Quality of Life
Many people just like me planted our roots in Tracy because of the Quality of Life that includes Safety, Transportation, and Accessibility to local Schools. An expansion of that came with Measure V, a half-cent sales tax I championed in 2016 to get the amenities Tracy greatly desires.
My commitment is to continue to support our Safety in their training, personnel needs, etc. so that they are well equipped to protect and serve our citizens, making Tracy a safe place to live an grow.
Transportation is a focus that I will continue until we get the relevant routes needed within our City as we also address the commuter needs. I serve on several transportation boards such as San Joaquin Council of Governments, San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission, the Mega Region Board, SAFE-CVR so that I can actively lobby for the ever growing needs of our community so that everyone can have the quality of life they deserve, able to spend quality time with their family instead of stuck in commute traffic.
Additionally, I will continue to advocate for local schools and continue to serve on the TUSD/City Liaison and the Tracy Unified STEM Collaboration Board to bring innovation and strong academics to all our youth.
Finally, I will work tirelessly to fulfill the promised Amenities to our community.. We’ve already broken ground to complete Phase 1E of Legacy Fields and we’ve already identified the money to break ground on both the Multigenerational Recreation Center (Gym) and Aquatics 2023 and open by 2025.
